I believe that documentary film-making is a powerful medium that can connect with audiences in unique ways and have a significant impact on our perception of contemporary events and our willingness to engage with them.

Hi! My name is Megg Mayger and I am studying a Bachelor of Journalism. For now, my goal in the field of Journalism is to work in radio, however I would be excited to try anything. I loved experiencing the culture in Vietnam and feel super lucky to have been involved in the trip.

Finishing up a double degree in Journalism and Arts, majoring in creative writing and sub-majoring in film & television, Zoe prefers to work behind keyboards and cameras. She has a passion for travelling, writing, film, politics and pop culture and hopes to pursue a career in one of these areas.

KIM BURLEY
Lecturer and Team Leader
Kim is course coordinator for the Internship or Project course and is the brains behind this project. Kim lectures in communication and media at UniSA and brings eight years of teaching experience to the project. Kim has taught at RMIT Vietnam and has strong ties with the Nhat Hong Centre for the Vision Impaired. A former Communication manager with the Australian Government, Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the team.

Hi! My name is Erin Hanna and I am in my final year of my Bachelor of Journalism. Sports journalism is the news that gets my blood pumping, but Vietnam opened my eyes to the international stories out there to be told. I love to learn and look forward to be at the front for breaking news in the future.

I am a journalism and law student interested in public policy, current affairs and worldwide press freedom. A news junkie, I hope to find employment in the journalism field once I graduate. In the meantime I don't mind a mean chicken parmigiana.

Travelling to Vietnam on an internship was one of the best thing I have ever done, and I hope to do more work overseas in the future.
